White glazed alcove cabinet
A white alcove cabinet beside a fireplace combines glazed upper storage and panelled cupboards below.

Composition and finish
This white cabinet is fitted into an alcove beside a fireplace, aligning glazed upper doors over panelled cupboards. The restrained treatment supports the existing architectural focal point.
Storage and use
Upper glazing keeps selected contents visible and protected. Closed lower doors accommodate everyday storage, with the two parts tied together by consistent framing.
Approaching a similar piece
A similar storage commission would start with what should be displayed, what should be concealed and how the furniture meets the room. Shelf spacing, door proportions and lighting can then be adjusted to the contents and setting.
